Rock Hill Residents Relent

Rock Hill residents of two subdivisions agreed to be annexed into the city, in spite of inevitable tax increases.  The residents put up a strong fight for over six months, even when the city threatened to cut off their water supply.  The city's argument for annexation was based on an agreement it had with the subdivisions' developer in 1998 in which the parties exchanged water service for a future possibility of annexation.  To read the full text WCNC.com article click here.
